To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday)
To request a routine appointment in the next 7 days
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly. Nurses’ clinics run daily Monday to Friday (except Thursday afternoon).
If you wish to have a chaperone available at your appointment please advise the receptionist when booking your appointment if possible or when you attend for your appointment.
Evening & Weekend Appointments
Our practice is working in partnership to provide additional GP appointments between:
If you need access to an evening appointment or weekend routine non-urgent appointment, please contact reception on 01213573309 during the normal practice hours.
Your appointment may be at another Practice and not at your registered Practice.
If you are housebound, or too ill to get to the surgery, you may request a home visit. Please telephone 0121 357 3309 before 10:30 if possible. The doctor may call you back to decide whether or not a visit is necessary. It may be that the doctor can advise you over the telephone.
Requests for emergency visits can be made to surgery at any time. Please give as much information as possible to the receptionist to help the doctor to assess the urgency of your request. Every effort should be made to come into the surgery whenever possible as you will be seen sooner and there are better facilities for diagnosis and treatment. For non-urgent visits please give as much notice as possible.
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.
